Hotel Description

Location. NH Krystal Cancun Hotel rests along Punta Cancun's eastern shore, one block from Cancun, Mexico's nightclubs, shops and restaurants. The prestigious Cancún Golf Club at Pok-Ta-Pok, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is just two kilometers away.
Hotel Features. Breakfast and dinner (international menu) are served in Aquamarina, a lively air-conditioned restaurant with pool and ocean views. El Mortero is a colorful dining venue that prepares Mexican delicacies. Las Velas, an open-air beachside restaurant, serves à la carte lunches, snacks and daily specials. Entertainers appear nightly in the Lobby Bar.
Complimentary wireless Internet access and ample function space accommodate celebratory parties or corporate groups. A health club includes a sauna, steam room, massage-treatment rooms and a small fitness room. A spa tub provides relaxing escape while livelier opportunities include dance classes, pool sports and bingo. A freeform pool contains a waterfall and swim-up bar, and a jetted children's pool is located near a grassy playground. An independent contractor maintains a desk at the resort for booking fishing trips and scuba-diving excursions. The resort provides snorkeling gear and boogie boards.

Guestrooms. This hotel offers 325 guestrooms in an eight-story tower. Rooms do not include balconies, but select accommodations provide window views of the Caribbean Sea. Décor includes marble-clad bathrooms with shower/tub combinations, desks and two-chair dining sets. NH Krystal Club guests are extended exclusive access to a check-in/concierge lounge with a big-screen television and a computer with high-speed Internet access. These guestrooms also include continental breakfasts, non-alcoholic beverages and afternoon cocktails. A rooftop terrace and plunge pool afford views of the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon.

Expert Tip. When winds periodically render the ocean unsafe for swimming along the resort's shoreline, calmer waters at the public beach are located within a short distance of the hotel.
