Hotel Description

Location. Positioned between the calm blue waters of the Caribbean and Nichupte Lagoon, the Omni Cancun Hotel and Villas are located in Cancun, Mexico. Just one kilometer from the El Rey ruins, the resort is three kilometers from shopping and dining at Plaza Kukulcan. Located on the northeastern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, Cancun has become one of the most popular vacation destinations in the Caribbean. This hotel is located near many of Mexico's Mayan ruins. There are many outdoor activities close to the property, including windsurfing, parasailing and boogie boarding. The Hilton Golf Course is one-half kilometer from the property, and there are many places to play beach volleyball. The waters near the resort are generally calm and ideal for swimming.
Hotel Features. The large, L-shaped pool features a swim-up bar and can be found on the top level of terraced sundecks that overlook the sea. A lower-level pool features waterfalls and a separate children's section with a 25-person spa tub adjacent. A 40-person spa tub is located beachside and features a swim-up bar with stools and rope swings. The on-site health spa offers a number of relaxing treatments and the fitness center has weights, cardiovascular machines and steam rooms. Complimentary services and amenities include Spanish lessons, pool aerobics, dance lessons and high-speed Internet access in public areas. Conference spaces are located on the property. The 24-hour front desk can assist with concierge, dry cleaning and tour assistance.

Guestrooms. Guests can choose from all-inclusive or European-style plans. All accommodations feature furnished balconies or step-down sitting areas with large windows. Villa-style units have kitchens and all units have dial-up Internet access and minibars. Other amenities include cable television and in-room safes.

Expert Tip. A small bullring, Plaza de Toros, is located downtown. Bullfights take place every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
